Our mission
About us Until February 24, 2022, VoluteeringCorp was a German charity organization that for more than a decade held an annual arts festival for Slavic families in Europe. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we changed our focus from education to evacuation, applying the skills we had built up over the years of organizing events.
How we do it Our activities are possible thanks to a tandem of volunteers working on the ground providing transport and accommodation across Europe and coordinators responsible for evacuation and organizing the process remotely. All volunteers use a secure messaging platform.
General evacuation From February 24, 2022, VoluteeringCorp is committed to helping everyone who seeks assistance, from travel counseling to developing comprehensive evacuation operations with step-by-step instructions for refugees, purchasing tickets and booking temporary housing for the duration of the trip. The VoluteeringCorp team offers assistance to everyone: medically vulnerable people, those traveling with pets, the elderly, young children, dependents, people with disabilities and people with RAS.
Nord Stream As of April 9, 2022, VoluteeringCorp also began helping Ukrainians who fled the occupied territories and were most severely affected by the war. These are families who were forced to flee through Russian filtration camps and then across the Russian-Estonian border. In Estonia, Latvia and Poland, VoluteeringCorp provides them with accommodation, tickets, transportation and food all the way to their destination anywhere in Europe.
But the number of requests for help and evacuation requests is growing exponentially. Now, more than ever, our organization needs financial and human resources. Our work is impossible without external funding.
